Last Christmas: Tributes To George Michael, Phil Collins & The Police Long Beach Concert reviews
Great Show, but Lucas Oil Stadium wasn't on the Ball
The fantastic job was done by the Management of the Last Christmas: Tributes To George Michael, Phil Collins & The Police show. The highlight of the events was the 450-member Blue Coats Alumni Corp, which was very enjoyable. It seemed as though every corps was ready and in place at the right times over the 3-day event.
The Lucas Oil Stadium management failed in many ways. There was no order to entry, no signage telling everyone where to go, and only 4 food and beverage venues open for 20,000+ visitors. They ran out of certain items, even water at 1 venue. People would stand in the stairwells blocking the view from the first 3 rows of the section behind it with no Lucas Oil reps around to manage the traffic. Didn't y'all know how many tickets were sold? I understand it's hard to get staffing these days, but a lot of the problems were just poor management.
